"Lotty has a wonderful teaching style and it's obvious she truly loves educating and caring for young children. She has a great love and devotion of children, always providing a nurturing environment. Lotty provides an age-appropriate curriculum, bilingual education and lots of activities with crafts, art, a lot of reading, outdoor play, etc. Lotty has extensive knowledge of early childhood education, how children grow and develop, and she frequently shares this information with parents. One of my sons has a speech delay and because of Lotty's suggestion to have him evaluated, he is now receiving speech therapy from our neighborhood elementary school. My son will start kindergarten in 2005 and I can attribute his readiness to what he has learned in day care as well as having learned to better socialize and to develop his self esteem."

“As a mother, I have to say that leaning my children and returning to work was one of the most difficult things I have ever had to do, but knowing that ‘my treasures’ were in Lotty’s very capable and loving hands made it easier to deal with. Through the years, I’ve seen her give them more love and support than I could ever hope...almost as if they were her own. That, in itself, has been a priceless gift. She prepared both my children with the educational tools that they needed to make their transition to school so flawless. We owe so much to her. Our children absolutely love Lotty and look forward to being in her care. Our five-year-old began Kinder this year and was completely prepared, even above grade-level, all due to learning from Lotty's curriculum. She helped to develop them into the caring and respectful children that they are, instilled with good, strong core values. As parents, we couldn't have asked for more.”

"Lotty has provided Ava with the best of care since she was eight months old. My husband and I have been extremely happy with the love and attention that Ava receives while in her care. Since Ava has been going to Lotty's house, she has learned so much. She can count to 16; knows her shapes and the alphabet; she can count to 10 in Spanish; she has learned to identify traffic signs; sings songs; and she is on her way to becoming potty-trained. Ava enjoys going to Lotty's house and can't wait to see all her friends. She even asks to go to Lotty's on the weekends. I feel confident and secure when I drop Ava off at Lotty's in the morning, I know she is happy to be there. Lotty is a very organized, intelligent individual, who exudes patience and creativity, and I would highly recommend her."

"Our son, Dylan, started in Lotty's program at three months of age. Dylan is now almost 10 months old and he has learned so much from Lotty and her program. Lotty provides daily activities, such as circle time and singing and dancing. Dylan is still young but he enjoys participating in these activities and watching the older children. Lotty makes sure that Dylan is right there in the middle of all activities.Dylan is provided the opportunity to watch and learn from the others in the program.

We are very impressed with Lotty's organizational skills. She keeps track of each days' events and Dylan's activities. She has always kept us informed of any changes in Dylan's routine. Lotty makes sure that we receive a monthly newsletter, which is filled with valuable information pertaining to the children and the upcoming events. She keeps the lines of communication open and is conscientious in notifying us ahead of time about any program changes.

Dylan is given a lot of love and care and we feel like Lotty and her family are part of our extended family."

"Rachel, my three year old daughter, has been attending Lotty’s home daycare for approximately two years. I have had ample opportunity to observe (and benefit from) Lotty’s exemplary work as teacher, daycare provider, and friend.

Rachel thoroughly enjoys her days at Lotty's. She participates in an invigorating, well planned curriculum that Lotty constantly endeavors to perfect!! Lotty is a very inspired and creative teacher. Her concept of circle time (which includes the teaching of reading, drawing, writing, Spanish language, musical and dance skills) is truly exceptional! Lotty is superbly organized, yet flexible. Although her students vary from 4 months to 10 years of age, she tailors the curriculum to each of them and addresses their individual needs.

Lotty is uncompromising in her strive for excellence. It is her attention to minor details that sets her apart. Whether it’s keeping an impeccable house, wiping snot of noses, or ensuring that each child consumes a balanced meal, she is consistently meticulous. Despite a full schedule, Lotty manages to celebrate each child’s special moments by hosting birthday, Christmas and Halloween parties, to name a few. She showcases their talents by staging wonderful plays. We, the parents, all love her!!”

“Lotty is intelligent, articulate, multicultural in her life experiences, and she has an academic background with breadth and depth in the social and natural sciences. She has managed her own preschool for the past nine years and I am absolutely confident that she provides her children with optimal social and cognitive learning environments. On the personal level, Mrs. Giusti-Chaves possesses an especially caring and compassionate personality. I was extremely touched by her obvious concern for the welfare of the children and parents who attend her school.”

“Lotty’s intuitive nature, integrity for excellence, and devotion for the development of children’s strong minds and bodies made our decision to enroll our son in her program an easy choice. The learning and physical attitude she introduced to our son has added character to his demeanor. The strength and confidence he exudes allows him to excel in school and social endeavors. At the age of seven years, he is an A student with St. Patrick’s Private School, a learned martial artist with the Chinese Kuoshu Martial Arts School in Folsom and an avid soccer player in the Laguna Creek District.”

Leo talks about you a lot and misses everyone a great deal. He is doing wonderful in school. Very smart; reading! (Thanks, Lotty!)
